How much does to inflate the tires of a road bike?

Road bike suppliers introduced road bikes that generally have to be inflated around 100-110psi, depending on the markings on the tires.

  1. The narrower the tire, the greater the total load and the greater the required inflation pressure. And for every kilogram increase in the total weight of the bike, rider, and luggage, the tire pressure should increase by one percent, and if the tire pressure is reduced, its tire contact surface will increase. This will improve the level of grip. If you ride in wet conditions, it is recommended that the pressure be lower than usual, about 0.5 bar.
  2. Wider tires are usually used at lower pressures, which, combined with the more significant amount of air, absorb bumps and cavities better and therefore ride more comfortably. Still, crucially, wider tires don’t suffer from reduced puncture protection or increased tire wear; surprisingly, their rolling resistance is not higher.
  3. If you’re looking for outstanding performance and higher average speeds, then higher tire pressures are still the answer if you have great roads and want to ride very fast, such as in a race that will inflate to the maximum allowable pressure. Using 25c tires as an example, only 8.5 bar instead of 6.5 bar will reduce rolling resistance by about 10%.

How to pump up road bike tires

Wholesale road bike manufacturer introduces road bike inflating—the materials you need to prepare to include a particular inflator road bike.

  1. First of all, prepare a special pump. This particular pump should be called a road bike pump.
  2. Take off the black cap of the tire nozzle.
  3. Then unscrew the top screw that can slide down.
  4. After unscrewing it, align the appropriate mouth of the pump with the nozzle.
  5. Then press the handgrip, and you can start pumping. Remember to pull down quickly so as not to leak too much air or gas flesh.
